Welcome to CthulhuCon™ PDX, the Pacific Northwest's premiere Lovecraftian convention!

CthulhuCon™ started life as supplementary (non-film) programming at Portland's own H.P. Lovecraft Film Festival®, which began haunting the Northwest in 1995. Each year the discussion panels, author readings, art, music, and live events have become a larger (and larger) part of the H.P. Lovecraft Film Festival^®, and a hub for Lovecraftian creators of all disciplines. To celebrate the 20th Anniversary H.P. Lovecraft Film Festival^® and two decades of Lovecraft's influence on this drizzly city, CthulhuCon™ will be a standalone* weekend of Lovecraftian gaming, art, music, authors, scholarship, and film.

* Don't worry; the 20th Annual H.P. Lovecraft Film Festival® (Oct. 2-4) will still incorporate all the panels, readings, gaming, and art that you've become accustomed to. CthulhuCon™ PDX is intended to give more space, time, and love to these things than there is room for at the film festival.
