Volunteer Sign Up

You can submit your application to be a volunteer at any time and we will be in touch a few months before the festival. Volunteering is definitely work that starts well before the fest and continues during and a bit after. We ask everyone to put up posters around town, we meet a few times before the fest, ask you to help boost us regularly on social media, follow a work schedule during the event, etc. Volunteers don't end up seeing that many movies as a general rule of thumb, but we do make sure that you get to experience some of the festival from the attendee side. Volunteering is really experiencing the festival from the back side. Our volunteers are vital, and we do find ways to show our appreciation. Most of our volunteers have been working with us for several years and we always welcome new blood!

Please enter your first and last name.
Please link your Facebook profile here so we can add you to the volunteer group on Facebook. This is optional.
We will not share your number without your permission. Most of the time, we will not use this unless we need to reach you during the convention.
During the convention, it is sometimes easier to send a group text. We also know that you may not have an unlimited text plan. If you choose "no" we will not text you.
If you have volunteered for a convention before, let us know which ones, and what you did as a volunteer.
Check all the posts you are interested in.
Generally speaking, what are the best days for you to be able to attend volunteer meetings? It is extremely important that you be able to attend at least one meeting before the festival happens. This will allow us to fill you in on what you are supposed to be doing, and for you to get answers to any questions you may have.
Please check off all the days you can actually physically be at the convention to volunteer. We know that not everyone can get all the days off. We also need help the day before and after the event to prep, pick up equipment, and to wrap up afterward, return rentals, get guests to the airport, etc.
If we do volunteer t-shirts, you'll need to wear one while you're on duty.
Anything else you want us to know about you?
