A film adaptation of H.P. Lovecraft's Statement of Randolph Carter that follows Sonya Greene, a local Sheriff, as she investigates a mysterious man found near death at the side of the high way. Digging deeper, circumstances begin to link back to the disappearance of her brother years prior. As the truth unravels before her, a grand cosmic secret bridging thousands of years and miles is revealed to her.
