Short Films Block w/visiting Filmmaker Q&A afterwards.
BARBARA STEELE will introduce and take part in a Q&A for this special screening of Black Sunday (Saturday ONLY). Due to very limited room, the auditorium will open to allow seating first to 2017 HPLFF VIP and Deluxe Kickstarter backers and other 3-day pass holders, while seats are available, before being opened to all festival attendees. Please arrive early. Barbara will also be signing in the lobby after the screening.
This is a workshop on writing scenes, and how individual scenes can be stitched together to form a story! Ross Lockhart will take up to 12 participants for this extremely insightful and skill-building workshop!
Like Dr. Herbert West’s or Victor Frankenstein’s ghastly resurrections, stories are made up of individual parts, called scenes.
Special Guest Courtney Gains will be with us for a screening of Stephen King's Children of the Corn. Short Film, "Goodnight, Gracie" will play before. Q&A to follow.
