Featuring a special presentation of Kevin McTurk's "The Narrative of Victor Karloch," Paul Campion's "Eel Girl," adaptations of "From Beyond" and "The Festival," as well as audience favorites from the 2014 festival, like "Vomica," and a look at new films showing at the 2015 festival.

Thank you, Portland! The Best of the H.P. Lovecraft Film Festival, held on October 4 at the Hollywood Theater, was a great success! Thanks for coming and watching some amazing films with us. We went way over time and kept a lot of you up past your bedtime, watching films from the early days, like "The Old Man and The Goblins," as well as films selected for next year's 20th Anniversary Festival, including the World Premiere of "Fat Rabbit" from Adam Petke.

The H.P. Lovecraft Film Festival and The Hollywood Theatre are bringing Richard Stanley to Portland on March 6 (tix at http://bit.ly/OtherworldPDX) to introduce and Q&A a documentary double feature, featuring the US Premiere of The Otherworld, Mr. Stanley's film about the history of magical belief in his home of Montsegur, France, as well as a screening of the acclaimed documentary Lost Soul: The Doomed Journey of Richard Stanley's Island of Dr. Moreau.
