Jill is your average housewife, home alone on a lazy Saturday in suburbia. She's got the TV on and lunch on the stove, and she's just about to kick her feet up when a frantic neighbor, Alan, breaks through the front door. Alan is in high-octane, full-freakout mode. He's looking for her husband, and he's armed to the teeth, babbling nonsense about a brutal attack and a giant insect. Thus begins Grasshopper! -- a harried romp through a sunny suburban landscape, with one man determined to find a vile, murderous bug and one woman intent on curtailing her neighbor’s madness.
