We're all familiar with various Mythos creatures causing mental mayhem on hapless investigators, but how would that actually work? This talk will explore the utmost extremes of human perception and how the worst entities can affect that. Due to the nature of the subject matter this will cover some dark topics but will be rewarding to horror fans curious about what losing SAN points could happen in real life. One of the festival director's favorite films, FROM BEYOND, turns 35 this year! Join us for a screening of this crazy Cosmic Horror ride from 1986, in honor of our dearly departed friend and friend of the festival, Stuart Gordon. Nobody put Lovecraft on screen like Stuart. He brought a kind of wild fun to Lovecraft's nihilism that we haven't seen since. We'll miss you.

Our last feature presentation is a full Sneak Preview of The Fall of Usher, which weaves the tales of Poe (including Masque of The Red Death, Annabel Lee, The Tell-Tale Heart, Cask of Amontillado, and more) into a touching allegory of loss and stunning portrayal of madness and the macabre. This is the full pre-release film, and you can only see it at the H. P. Lovecraft Film Festival.
