The Pulp Stage theatre company will be performing a world premiere adaptation of Alex Shvartsman's short story "Explaining Cthulhu To Grandma": When Sylvia gets Cthulhu on pawn, she thinks she's made a great score for her grandmother's shop. Grandma disagrees. Now Sylvia must find a way to sell the volatile god while making sure it doesn't fall into the wrong hands.
Evan J. Peterson will perform a poetic diatribe of cyclopean proportion!

We are joined this year by Special Guest Jeffrey Combs! Most Lovecraft fans know his as Herbert West, Star Trek fans know him as Weyoun, but he's also a classically trained actor, and very well suited to giving dramatic readings. During his college years, he was in two Shakespeare productions at Reed College, and Mr. Combs shared that he is excited to be coming back to Portland! On Friday at 9 pm, he will give a reading of "The Outsider".
Jeffrey Combs was a guest at the very first H.P. Lovecraft Film Festival, and we are extremely excited to have him here again for the 20th Anniversary! Having worked in numerous films, movies, and even video games, he is no stranger to voice work. We're lucky enough to be having him do a reading of H.P. Lovecraft's "The Doom That Came to Sarnath" on Sunday afternoon.
