Predicted in ages gone by, the Lovecraft Arts and Science Council (organizers of the biennial NecronomiCon Providence) serve as host for the stricken minds of the H. P. Lovecraft Film Festival® – Portland organizers. The blasphemous result is 3 days of Lovecraftian film and activities, including author readings, panels, and vendors. Come to the Best of the 2015 H.P. Lovecraft Film Festival® DVD Release Party!
(IMPORTANT! This event has been rescheduled for July 10th due to some unforeseen repair work at the Lovecraft Bar.)

Our latest DVD is now available! Join us for Dread Hour at the Lovecraft Bar (421 SE Grand) to celebrate the release.

We will have copies for sale, but if you pledged for a copy (either separately, or as part of the 3-DVD box set) in our 2015 Kickstarter, we invite you to join us and pick up your copy.

Our H. P. Lovecraft Film Festival Best of 2015 DVD is now available! We'll be celebrating the release at the Lovecraft Bar here in Portland, OR. If you pledged for a copy in our 2015 Kickstarter (either singly or as part of the upcoming 3 DVD set) you can come pick up your copy at the party. If you didn't, we can also sell you a copy that you can carry home and watch, without the pain of shipping costs!

Philip Gelatt

Philip Gelatt is a screenwriter, filmmaker and author of comic books. His first film, THE BLEEDING HOUSE, premiered at the 2010 Tribeca Film festival. He was the screenwriter on the Ray Bradbury Award nominated science-fiction film EUROPA REPORT, starring Sharlto Copley, Mikael Nyqvist, and Anna-Maria Marinca, released by Magnet Pictures in 2013.

John Langan

Laird Barron

Laird Barron spent his early years in Alaska, where he raced the Iditarod three times during the early 1990s and worked in the fishing and construction industries. He is the author of several books, including X’s for Eyes, The Imago Sequence, The Beautiful Thing That Awaits Us All, and the forthcoming Swift to Chase. His work has also appeared in many magazines and anthologies. Barron currently resides in the Hudson Valley writing stories about the evil that men do. 

Howard Lovecraft and The Frozen Kingdom

After visiting his father in Arkham Sanitarium, young Howard Lovecraft accidentally uses the legendary Necronomicon to open a portal to a strange frozen world filled with horrifying creatures and a great adventure. An animated feature based on the Arcana comic book, featuring the voices of Ron Perlman, Christopher Plummer, Jane Curtin, and Doug Bradley.
