    Rod Serling's Night Gallery anthology series was known for its stories of the macabre and supernatural. It was a perfect fit for adapting some of H. P. Lovecraft's stories to the small screen. Here, we present "Cool Air" and "Pickman's Model" in all their 1971, 4:3 picture ratio glory!

Lovecraft never included and rarely alluded to sex in his stories. So, why do so many authors, artists, and filmmakers find Lovecraft and Sex so intertwined? We have thoughts about this... but, we'd rather show you. Be aware, these films contain nudity and sexual situations, in varying degrees.

    Chris Heck is a filmmaker and storyteller from the green mountains of Vermont. A childhood in the harsh New England winters would often keep him pent up inside, fighting back cabin fever with scary tales and VHS tapes. This is where a love for stories, and the escape they provide, began to grow. For the past ten years, he has traveled the world collecting stories and characters for the films he creates.

    While it's technically not possible to figure out the identity of HPL's ultimate necromancer-killing undead badass from the Case of Charles Dexter Ward, presenter Jess Gulbranson has done just that. This presentation will look at some of the many guesses that the fandom has entertained itself with for over 90 years, and then sum up the available evidence for the best possible suspect, who is no mythological wizard, but a real legend from the history of science. Follow Gulbranson as he travels from dabbling in calligraphy, to madness, revelation, and beyond!

  • The Emergence of Poetry on the Weird Fiction Scene

    Weird and Lovecraftian fiction has become a saturated medium, and poetry is offering new avenues to evoke spectral moods and an atmosphere of horror unavailable to conventional prose storytelling. Obadiah Baird, the editor of the highly regarded weird fiction journal _The Audient Void_ will discuss how interspersing poetry with short stories has enhanced the quality of his magazine, and how other publishers in the field are following suit. In addition, poets Ashley Dioses, K. A. Opperman, Adam Bolivar and  D. L.
