Are you a fan of independent horror films? Check out our sister festival, Portland Horror Film Festival™, also at the Hollywood Theatre! Showcasing tomorrow's masters of horror, Portland Horror Film Festival is Portland's premiere all-genre horror festival. If you love the short films at HPLFF, Portland Horror brings the same high quality and smart independent films, but from all genres of horror; everything from folk horror to the undead to stalkers to occult horror and much more.
Vincent Price has long been a beloved actor in the horror genre, and starred in several very Lovecraftian films, including Roger Corman's The Haunted Palace(based on HPL's The Case of Charles Dexter Ward), Diary of a Madman (based on Guy De Maupassant's "The Horla"), and even portrayed the sorcerer John Carnby in Night Gallery's adaptation of Clark Ashton Smith's "The Return of The Sorcerer." This year, we welcome his daughter Victoria Price as our guest of honor.

Don't miss this one-night-only screening of R-rated Lovecraftian short films that will titillate and horrify you! For your protection, this will be a secret screening - to find out what's playing, you'll just have to show up - of some of the racier short films of years past at the H. P. Lovecraft Film Festival. Adults-only please! Show starts at Midnight (we listed it as 11:55pm, so that it's clearer that it takes place the evening of Friday, August 23rd, but the show starts at Midnight).
