    Although Lovecraft's ideas about race sound strange and even repulsive to modern audiences, the United States in the 1920s was awash with eugenics ideas. How did Darwinism, health policy (such as the Racial Integrity Act of 1924) and science shape Lovecraft's vision? And how can we approach this delicate topic without declaring Lovecraft simply a "man of his time" and dismiss any modern concerns his writing may produce? Silvia Moreno-Garcia, S. T.     We will be recording Robert M. Price for an episode of the Lovecraft Geek Live! A beloved figure in the Lovecraft circle, Dr. Price has edited countless collections of Lovecraftian stories, essays, articles, and magazines like "Crypt of Cthulhu."

    His latest project “The Lovecraft Geek”, is a podcast designed to answer your questions about all things Mythos, but he'll be doing it live for our audience!

  • Dark Adventure Radio Theater presents: The Shadow Over Innsmouth

    A young man's travels in search of antiquarian architecture and his own family history brings him to the ill-regarded Massachusetts town of Innsmouth. There he uncovers horrors beyond his worst imaginings, barely escaping with his life and sanity.

    Lovecraft wrote the story in 1931 after a visit to Newburyport and the surrounding region. Long considered one of Lovecraft's most popular tales, the Dark Adventure Radio Theatre edition brings it to life in all its monstrous and malodorous glory.
