    Jason Bradley Thompson (www.mockman.com) is the author and artist of numerous comics, including H.P. Lovecraft's The Dream-Quest of Unknown Kadath, Clark Ashton Smith's Hyperborea, The Stiff and King of RPGs (with Victor Hao). He wrote the Eisner-nominated book on Japanese comics Manga: The Complete Guide, and his gaming comics and illustrations appear regularly on the Dungeons & Dragons website.

Jason's longtime interest in horror and the bizarre led him to direct the short film "DumbShow" as his final project for Pacific University, where he received a Bachelor of Arts in Film and Video Production. He is currently working at a local production studio, Laika, while using his spare time to plan his next project.Jason is a painter and artist who started out taking a multimedia design course.

    The Artifact is Jason’s third short film screened at the Lovecraft festival, but his first animated film. Jason has also worked as an illustrator on projects including Chaosiums Mythos the collectable card game, Unspeakable Oath magazine and some Dagon concept art for Stuart Gordon in 2001. His paintings are featured in the 2001 film The Yellow Sign as the crazed artist Aubrey Scott. Jason’s other films are The Vessel 2004, and Room For Error in 2006. In 2010 Jason also worked doing miniatures on the film The Whisperer in Darkness for the H.P.
