• John Donald Carlucci

    Company

John Donald Carlucci (°1965, Pittsburgh, United States) is an artist strongly influenced by the works of Michael Butkus, Arthur Adams, Mike Mignola, Hans Rüdi Giger, and Franz von Bayros.

He works in ink, pencil, sculpture, and assemblage. Rust and decay fill much of his imagery. He can create a work of darkness and despair and then jump to another image of pulpy fun filled with oddness and color.

His philosophy is simple – to give form to fears that lurk in the twilight between sleep and waking.

Lovecraft never included and rarely alluded to sex in his stories. So, why do so many authors, artists, and filmmakers find Lovecraft and Sex so intertwined? We have thoughts about this... but, we'd rather show you an hour of explicitly sexually Lovecraftian films. Be aware, all of these films contain nudity and sexual situations, in varying degrees. We think they're worth seeing, but parents with children and others that don't like to mix sex with their HPL may want to sit these films out... but that's a choice only you can make for your family and your eyeballs.
