    Tom Gliserman is a director/editor living in upstate New York. The Thing on the Doorstep is Gliserman's first feature. For the last 25 years he has been creating award-winning commercials, high-end corporate work and programs for broadcast through his company GreyHouse Productions. His love for strong female characters probably stems from the fact that he has five daughters, an awesome wife and two female felines (yes they're black). Gliserman is thrilled to be showing Doorstep at the festival.

    Troy Sterling Nies is a composer, paramedic, physician assistant, and gamer. His diverse experiences and vocations have provided him with a rich and often dark resource from which to find inspiration for composing to film. Originally born in Bismarck, North Dakota, he now resides in the Badlands-area of western N.D. Troy maintains a studio in his home and composes for a wide variety of media, including feature films, video games, concert hall, stage, acid-rock bands and everything in between for projects across the globe.

    Will's lifelong love of all things horror began the moment he read his first copy of Famous Monsters at the young age of seven. His professional career began as a composer before becoming involved in film production. Film scores include Dorian Blues, Nate Dogg and The Thing On The Doorstep. He has also composed music for numerous corporate clients and theatre companies. Will is a partner in Handsome Spyder, Inc., a film production company which has completed projects for Warner Bros., NY Life, United Way, etc.

    William (Liam) Thomas Damon was born in South Eastern Massachusetts, within the Bridgewater Triangle and the infamous Hockomock Swamp. Growing up as the second to youngest in a family of 7 kids, he found refuge from an overcrowded house in dusty books and Saturday afternoon Creature Features. His tastes in entertainment tend to run toward the fantastical and macabre genres and can be summed up with the expression "If I want reality, I'll look out the window".

Though best known for co-authoring the classic Logan’s Run with George Clayton Johnson, Nolan is the author of more than 2000 pieces (fiction, non-fiction, articles and books), and has edited 26 anthologies in his 50+ year career.An artist, Nolan was born in Kansas City, Missouri, and worked at Hallmark Cards, Inc. and in comic books before becoming an author.

    Since he was six years old Woodruff Laputka wanted to be a filmmaker. He attended the University of Alaska. The spirit of adventure in such a vast, empty place as Alaska is a hard thing for any young man to ignore. These were the forests where Blackwood’s fabled Wendigo could be roaming. He learned about how to rely on creativity, and how to collaborate with others, with different ideas and interpretations.

    Liv Rainey-Smith is an esoteric artist based in Portland, OR, specializing in hand-pulled woodcut prints. Her bold figure-oriented imagery is drawn upon history, nature, dream, and vision for inspiration. Rainey-Smith’s process incorporates a mixture of traditional and modern tools as well as a blend of European and Japanese printmaking technique. She prints primarily in small editions.
