Yes the rumors are true... I will be retiring (or going on sabbatical for awhile), this October festival will be my last as a director. I have been running this festival for 15 years and am out of sanity points. So what does this mean? Well Aaron Vanek has started a satellite festival in LA which will become an annual event. The Portland event is in limbo until I can find someone to replace me. We may have another satellite festival in Seattle and perhaps Austin. Regardless, I will always remain the founder... and the festival will live on and grow. So let us all celebrate H.P. and have a blast this October. cheers
