Queering Lovecraft
Romance is peculiarly absent from the mythos. In a pulp fiction world of dashing heroes and the women who worship them, Lovecraft's work eschewed romance–and women in general. Instead, people mate with monsters. Let's discuss the queer implications in the mythos as well as the writers bringing LGBTQ+ themes to the foreground.
