Made on a shoestring budget, this ambitious sequel to Lovecraft's Shadow Over Innsmouth was made by one of the festival's original "Lurkers." Check out this rarity on the big screen, introduced and with a Q&A by director Aaron Vanek, plus tales from other members of the cast and crew.

A young graduate student must decide his own fate when he discovers he is related to a race of monsters. Based on a story by H.P. Lovecraft.

Aaron Vanek received the 2005 Howie Award for his contributions to Lovecraftian cinema from the H.P. Lovecraft Film Festival, where he has been a regular guest and contributor since its inception in 1994. He ran the first Los Angeles H.P. Lovecraft Film Festival & CthulhuCon® franchise in September 2010, and continues as one of its directors with Cody Goodfellow and James Knouse.

Vanek’s movies can be purchased on the H.P. Lovecraft Collection vol. 3, and the Weird Tales Collection featuring The Yellow Sign, based on the R.W. Chambers story of the same name, or viewed on YouTube ("Call of Tutu", etc.). Two of his Call of Cthulhu role-playing game scenarios comprise the Chaosium monograph Farewell, My Sanity and another, “They Sleep by Twilight,” was published in issue #5 of Worlds of Cthulhu magazine. A supplement for the CoC RPG entitled "Altering the Mind: Psychedelic Drugs in the Cthulhu Mythos" is expected early 2016 from Sixtystone Press. 

He lives in Los Angeles with his wife Kirsten and a cat named Missekat.
